To avoid any potential disappointment, please check the 'Recruitment Vacancies' on the right side of the page to see what classes/spec we are currently looking for. Chances are a lot better for classes we need but even if we do not recruit your class specifically it is still possible that we accept you if your application impresses us!

Please understand that we are currently aiming for Cataclysm raiding progress and as such are primarily looking for people who are capable of doing that (and have a suitable gear level: previous tier gear is a good indication usually). However we say again, if you write a good application that displays a good attitude and proper level of maturity, you still have a good chance of getting in. It is not uncommon for us to accept an applicant whom we believe has potential even when they're just geared with lower level items. We'd rather have an undergeared player with potential, skill and a proper attitude than a player with a poor attitude in full epics.

To be considered as an applicant to Shadowstorm we need to know who you are, what you have done earlier and what you think you can bring to the guild.
In order to do this in the most efficient way, we have created this nifty little form that you can fill out.


The usual application process will proceed as follows:

1. You read and agree to the the Guild Ethos and Rules Overview posted here.

2. You submit a completely filled in application form. To do this, press the "Apply for membership" button in the top right of the site, just below the banner.

3. Your application will then be discussed amongst the officers after which it will be decided if you can or can not trial with us. This may take several days. Our answer will be sent to your email so make sure you enter a valid email address!

4. You will begin as a Trial member for a period of three weeks, during which we will try to get to know you, see how you play and so on, and also for you to get to know (and hopefully like) us. You'll be given forum access where you can read the detailed rules, abiding by them is implicit in staying with us.

5. If all goes well, after 3 weeks you will be promoted to member. If things do not go well your trial may be ended prematurely. In rare cases if things go exceptionally well your promotion will be given before 3 weeks have passed. It is also possible for your trial to be extended if we are not sure.

6. If you have failed to attend the minimum of raids during your trial or are inactive for long periods of time without notification you will fail your trial. Remember, the trial is for us to get to know you as a person and to see how you perform in raids which is difficult if you aren't around.


REMEMBER! This application is the first impression you will give to us as so take your time to fill this out seriously, if you dont, why should we bother taking the time to read it?
